This is the ultra short explanation of why Pike isn’t blogging:

Pike’s wife was hit by a car five weeks ago and Pike is visiting the hospital with his children every day and he has no time, nor is he interested in blogging about it or Apple stuff.

Hi Pike,

My wife and I were involved in a car accident last week.(See: https://www.rtvutrecht.nl/nieuws/1694164/gewonde-bij-ongeval-met-stadsbus-en-autos-in-houten.html)

We were lucky, we had an angel on our shoulders. Just one hospital visit and mostly car-damage.

I hope that your wife recovers quickly!

I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, but I am so sorry to read this. Take good care of your family, and yourself. Most of the other things we spend our days worrying about are in comparison just plain trivial. I really wish her a complete and quick recovery, and all the best for your family.

OMG this is so terrible 😦 its like all the bad things in the world happening to this helpful amazing man and his family so unfair !!! All my thoughts and prayers gos out to you dr Piker and the wife. I deeply hope this car accident wasnt as bad as it sounds 😦
