No. I am not coming back, but I just want you to know that I am fine. Thank you for the warm loving words per mail and comments here.
Also. The kids and I moved to the other side of the pond for work – someone will probably find my message to my wife in a kext soon…
Well. Thank you for all your support. I won’t forget you. Lookout for my help from Cupertino – you will love it 🙂
Good to hear from you, take care and best of luck for the future.
Good luck my friend, just know that you’re not alone, you’ve got friends here.
Thoughts and prayers with you and your family! Always so good to hear from you! All the best for the new adventures in Cupertino!
All the best for you and your family!
Welcome to the Bay Area!
High cost of living and nasty traffic, but some really great outdoors all around!
it has been a hell of a ride with you helping in the community, you have really inspired some of us and I’m just great full that you are moving forward! We will miss you in shinny Spain my friend. Let this not be a good bye!
All my best for you and you family. If I can be of any help, please let me know.
Belated Huge Thank You to you and your wider family. It’s amazing what you have all selflessly contributed over the years. Wish you and yours all the strength in the world.
Take all the time you need Pike. All the best.
Wish you all the best and strength. And thanks to you my pc runs macOS (graphics policy fix) 🙂
Great to hear from you… you’ll be certainly missed by everyone. All my very best wishes for your next chapters in life my friend. May your future be filled with happiness, health, serenity as well as wealth and success which won’t hurt (although aren’t at the top of my priorities as one might guess). And if you’re ever around NYC, let me know… it’d be my honor to treat you to dinner at the very least! 🙂 It’s been a privilege to follow your blog and learn from it.
Endless XOXOs to you and all your loved ones!
We are happy to see news from you.
Hope you still living in Spain and you are welcome to come to Galicia!
You have been a shining example of what people are capable of. Thanks for giving and sharing so much to this hackintosh community … your legacy will be long remembered and appreciated and used. My condolences to you and your family for your loss and hope you all find the peace and understanding that only time can give.
Thank you for sharing all your great info and knowledge. It helped me (my system) and more important the whole community a lot.
Wish you and yours all the best.
This post gives me new hope for Apple.
Hi Pike,
I also wanted to thank you for your great and invaluable contributions! And maybe, maybe, maybe you might rethink your decision and return later on? It would be greatly appreciated not only by me, but also by a lot of other people. But no matter what, I wish you all the best for the future, and I hope time will heal your wounds.
I think you have joined Apple. So wonderful! Apple is lucky to have you. May be you can convince Apple to hang on and support the old Macs longer so that they are not thrashed. We are looking forward to start using your amazing coding talent in Apple’s new Macs.
Welcome to US for you and your family and good luck in your new job. Please, let us know if you start a new Blog.
I watched quietly after last year’s saddening posts. Now, it’s good to read that you’re fine.
Wishing happiness to you and yours – and (if you believe in such things) may you dream of the calmness with which your wife will receive your message …
I wish you all the best, hard moments are there in life to make us appreciate more the future.
I can never thank you enough for your support.

Happy to hear that, best wishes for you. 😋
All the strength and support from me. You are welcome in any where in Spain.
A hackintosh contributor has left the pirates to join the navy and for a hefty check he signed a NDA with faust, Apple, who bought him off. RIP Pike.
Please come back
We need you
Peace, Brother 🙂

All the best in the future for you and your children.
Man, honestly, it’s impossible for me to imagine what you had to go through. I remember, when I heard about passing of your sister, I was in such a shock, like I’ve lost someone from my family. It’s absolutely unexplainable, because I never knew her personally, never saw her, never even knew her full name. But even now, 6 years have passed and I still recall her.
Never met you but everything I’ve seen says you’re a good egg, as my dad would say. Good luck with you new endeavors.
